Choose your bulk lot size and receive natural unopened Kentucky geodes for collecting, cracking, education, gifts, or display.

These are real whole Kentucky geodes from Fishing Creek Rocks. Each lot is selected from natural Kentucky geode material and packed as a mixed bulk lot. Sizes, shapes, surfaces, and interiors will vary because every geode is different.

Choose your size

  • 1 lb – small starter lot or gift
  • 2 lb – simple beginner pack
  • 5 lb – good family size or small homeschool activity
  • 10 lb – better for groups, classrooms, parties, and repeat collectors
  • 20 lb – larger variety for educators, collectors, or displays
  • 30 lb – biggest bulk option for the most variety

What makes these different

  • Natural whole Kentucky geodes
  • Unopened crack-your-own specimens
  • No dye, no polishing, no artificial enhancement
  • Hand-selected and packed by Fishing Creek Rocks
  • Useful for collecting, homeschool, classroom science, gifts, flower beds, and nature displays

What may be inside

Kentucky geodes may contain quartz, calcite, chalcedony, agate-like banding, fossil impressions, or other natural mineral features. Some geodes are hollow, some are partly filled, and some may be solid. The inside cannot be guaranteed because these are unopened natural specimens.

Educational experience

These geodes are great for hands-on learning. Customers can observe weight, shape, texture, sound, and surface clues before opening them. They can also be used for geology lessons, rock collections, classroom activities, nature tables, and family discovery projects.

Opening safety

If you choose to crack them open, use adult supervision, eye protection, gloves, and a safe outdoor work surface. Many customers open geodes using a hammer and screwdriver or chisel, but safety matters more than speed.

Important note

Photos show examples of the type of geodes you may receive. Your lot will be a natural mixed lot, not the exact same pieces shown in every photo. Every order is packed from real Fishing Creek Rocks geode inventory.
