Important natural geode note
Every geode is different. Some may be hollow, some may be solid, and some may contain quartz, calcite, chalcedony, or other natural mineral features. The surprise is part of the experience.
How to open them
Many people crack geodes with adult supervision using common hand tools, such as a hammer and screwdriver or chisel. Always wear eye protection, use gloves, and place the geode on a stable outdoor surface before opening.
