These 5 lb Kentucky geodes come Easy Open, using my TrueSplit Method — I run a saw all the way around the outside, but never through the middle. That leaves the crystal core completely untouched, so you still get the real crack-your-own moment, just without the shattered mess a hammer alone usually causes. The saw pass also leaves the outer rim smooth and glossy.
