Part of our exclusive Clean Break Geodes line. Hand-collected by me personally from Fishing Creek in Lincoln County, Kentucky — where I've been finding geodes since 1998.

This lot includes 14 Kentucky geodes, totaling approximately 9 lbs — including a rattler! Before shipping, I personally cut a Clean Break groove around the equator of each geode with a diamond blade. The crystal-filled center stays 100% natural and completely untouched — the pre-cut line simply shows you exactly where it's going to break, guiding you to a much cleaner, more satisfying crack.

How your Clean Break geode works: Set a chisel or straight-blade screwdriver into the pre-cut groove, tap it with a hammer along the line, and the geode splits into clean halves — revealing the sparkling quartz crystal cavity inside. Because you're striking a pre-cut line instead of guessing, you get a cleaner, more controlled break than swinging a hammer blind. No one can guarantee a perfect break on a natural stone — not us, not anyone — but the Clean Break method meaningfully improves your odds while you still get the full thrill of cracking them open yourself.

How to open: Set a chisel or flathead screwdriver into the scored line and tap firmly with a hammer, working around the groove for more control. Wrapping in a towel helps too. Always wear eye protection.
